Scratch Nack

• Tradition and innovation: The Scratch Nack, one of Prologo’s four flagship saddles combines technologically sophisticated construction with a traditional domed shape and padding.

• Traditional domed profile creates a cantered platform appropriate for narrower sits bones while still supporting the muscles of the gluteus and hamstrings.

• Active Density (AD) padding is a saddle construction technique patented by Prologo.  AD padding varies in density and thickness over 3 zones of the saddle optimizing comfort and support. The front zone of the saddle, designed for absolute comfort in an aero position, is padded with very low density, soft 40% foam. The central zone, key to reducing pressure on the perineal area, features medium density 50% foam.  The back zone or seating area supports the ischial tuberosities and gluteus muscles.  The back zone is padded with firm and comfortable 60% foam.

• High Weave Density (HWD) base tunes the ride quality of the Scratch Nack for light weight, strength, and support. Prologo’s proprietary HWD base is constructed of different carbon layers and resins, resulting in a base whose varying thickness, density, and elasticity compliment the AD comfort zones.

• Braided Carbon Rail (BCR) is Prologo’s exclusive saddle rail design. Constructed of braided filaments of carbon and Kevlar reinforced with aluminum filaments in the clamp area, the BCR achieves extreme light weight without sacrificing durability.
