VREDESTEIN TECHNOLOGY

Full Contact Protection layer

Exclusive to the Quattro Tri-Comp, this flexible yet highly puncture resistant layer extends protection from the center of the tread, through the shoulders, to the sides of the tire, helps to eliminate flats.

SPL Sportex Protection Layer

A layer of polyamide, a plastic based composite runs down the center of the tread and ensures the tire is light and very strong.

TriComp Technology

Softer tire shoulder tread ensures the best grip while cornering, while a harder center tread provides a longer wearing tire with less rolling resistance.

Curve Control System

The recommended inflation pressure of 145psi of Vredestein tires enables them not to deform under hard cornering, giving a much more consistent feel—a feature that is especially noticeable under larger riders.

PRS

A highly effective composite layer placed under the center tread to protect against flats.

The Dual Overlapping Casing

Constructed with 120 tpi provides extra casing under the tread for improved flat protection, creating a 3 ply contact patch. Many Vredestein tires use a dual-overlapping casing, which gives them the supple ride they are known for—even when inflated to the recommended pressure of 145 psi. The dual-overlapping casing helps to smooth out the feeling of rougher roads, while still giving the low rolling resistance that high pressures allow. It also helps the tire shape remain consistent, even during hard cornering.

The Dual-compound Tread

Harder in the center for decreased rolling resistance and decreased wear, softer on the sides for cornering grip.

Kevlar beads

Make for a supple, lightweight bead and ensures the tire is easy to get on and off tire changing.
